Cambodia Will Receive Light to Moderate Rain from 4-10 January

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has shared that Cambodia will be affected by low atmospheric pressure from the lower part of the South China Sea from 3-7 January. In addition, Cambodia will be affected by weak to moderate pressure from the northeast monsoon from 8-10 January.

This weather condition will cause the central lowlands and highlands of the country to receive light to moderate rain from 5-7 January 2023.

In the central lowlands, the minimum temperature will be between 21–24 °C, and the maximum temperature will be between 28–30 °C.

In the highlands, there will be light to moderate rain with a minimum temperature of 18 to 21 °C and a maximum temperature of 28 to 30 °C, from 5-7 January.

In the coastal areas, there will be light to moderate rain, with the possibility of wind in the same time period. On the sea surface, there will be slight to moderate waves. Minimum temperature is expected to be 22–24 °C, and the maximum temperature is expected to be 28–30 °C.

The Ministry urges extra caution in the maritime region.
